1. You notice the episode of Wishbone you watched was written by Mo Rocca. Which is just plain cool.
2. You figure it's an easier way to lose a few pounds than exercise.
3. The whole "being waited on hand and foot" thing is nice. Run to Redbox and pick up a movie? You got it! More saltines? Right away, ma'am!
Blerg. Even then, it's still not worth puking your brains out. Obviously, the other stuff I had planned will have to wait. Also, I would for reals buy Wishbone on DVD. I love that show.

I love it how you can become exalted royalty (not just royalty) when you're sick. But yeah, the whole puking thing is my enemy. At least it deters me from ever being bulimic.

Yeah, sick sucks, but there are definitely perks. Wishbone is freaking awesome.

We used to watch Wishbone all the time when we were kids... I could never decide if I liked it or if it was annoying. I'm sorry you're sick! On the other hand, Redbox!
Also, I have no idea if the fact that an episode of Wishbone was written by Mo Rocca is cool because Mo Rocca is someone special, or just because it sounds like Morocco, the country.

What's the story, Wishbone?
Man, I LOVED Wishbone. I wish PBS still played it here.
Feel better. If it's a cold, and you're all stuffy and gross, eat lots of pineapple. It has more Vitamin C than oranges, and it has bromelain, which helps clear of stuffy messes and helps reduce coughing. Trust me, I've been sick enough times to know all the natural remedies that work.

I recently rediscovered Wishbone when I was sick a couple weeks ago! And I totally agree with you about the weight loss. I lost four pounds in three days (some of the worst three days of my life, however).
However I wasn't really treated like royalty. They just let me off the hook for some chores and a little time off work.

I loved coming home after school and watching Wishbone. I haven't watched it in years!
I hope you feel better soon.

The weight loss thing is a perk. The challenge is keeping it off when you get better.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Waited on hand and foot? I don't have that! Can you rent this person out?

Where is this "wait on you hand and foot" person and how can I get one when single-girl-who-lives-alone is sick all day?
Feel better :o)
